Fall Scents
Lighting a cinnamon candle while I work during the day. I just didn't look outside at the hot sun ;) Not that sun is a bad thing...it's a happy thing. But right now it makes me even happier to pretend like it was a Michigan fall day.

Call phone on Gmail
I lost my phone this week, & was SO thankful that you are now able to make calls from Gmail! I was able to make some needed calls in the 2 days that I didn't have a phone.

Dramamine!
I'm thankful for Dramamine on a flight home. Happiness is a turbulent flight with a calm stomach!

Traverse City
Happiness is being in Traverse City in the fall. Northern Michigan is beautiful. Joel and I have said numerous times we could see moving up here.
Red Wings
Joel getting to meet and talk to famous Red Wing players. He and Henrik Zeterberg talked about pinatas. How funny is that?!

My cell phone died yesterday and the cell phone place is still working on fixing it. I can't believe how much I use it!! Happiness is cell phones. What did we do without them?

Jesus
Happiness is knowing that Jesus overcame the grave! We had a great sermon today about how we don't have to live with guilt if we believe Jesus died for us. If you have guilt over something you did, you need to confess it and will be forgiven. If you have guilt over something that you've already confessed, then you can let it go because you've been forgiven!
Micah 7:18b "You (the Lord) will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea." (NRSV)
Micah 7:8 "Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy; when I fall, i shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me." (NRSV)
We all sin, but the Lord is always with us! That truely is happiness!
