Happiness is...Joel getting offered his first interview for residency! Yay, Medical College of Wisconsin. And, since it is in Milwaukee, Kyper and I are going to join him and visit with Aren and Leah!

He also was informally told that he would have an interview at Botsford in Metro Detroit!

Shoes

Happiness is having shoes. I've recently realized that not everyone in the world has access to shoes. I wear shoes almost the entire day!

I'm particularly thankful for my new TOM's shoes which are super comfy, by Chaco sandals (2 pairs) and the rubber boots I wear in the barns.

Camping

Camping with a big group of church friends--of all ages. Despite cold weather, we had a ton of fun!

Happiness is...

Barf bags on airplanes.
... and when the turbulence stops.

Sleep

Putting your baby in the crib for the first time and having her sleep 7.5 hours :) Then taking her in your room and cuddling with the family until 11am. And making pancakes at noon.

satisfying

Assembling furniture so we can host guests.

Salvation

the assurance of our eternal life.

A late night phone call with a good friend that makes you forget that you are exausted and have to get up six hours.

Happiness is...

hearing the sounds of laughter from both dad and child while they are bonding, especially during bath time.
